Wow, okay. So. I apparently forgot this existed. But I'm not dead! I'm just lazy.
Obviously a number of things have happened since last entry as I lead a very busy and important life, but let me try to summarize the big things with bullet points:
- Lead America hired me! I'm going on 2 of the Europe sessions, the first being June 17th-July 1st and the second July 14th-28th. We go through England, France, Germany, Slovakia, Austria, and Hungary. And I'm getting paid for everything. And the best part? George is coming, too! Yay!!! I cannot wait... I'm just so glad I have some summer plans.
- I got into University of Baltimore Law. It was the first acceptance letter I got, so I was tres excited. However...
- I also got into New England School of Law. Which is the one I'm pretty sure I want to go to. In fact, I'm very sure. Even though I haven't gotten anything back from Maryland yet. I just need a change of scenery and I love Boston and my family is up there. And they offered me an $11,000 scholarship! Annnnd Jenny got into photography school up there so we're looking for apartments together :-) I'm pretty effing excited/terrified. I have to find a place to live as well as a job. Growing up is the scariest thing I've ever faced. Even worse than that time I had to fight the 3-headed dragon.
- Speaking of Boston, I had a blasty blast visiting my brother and sister-in-law. My whole trip was pretty much based solely on where we were going to eat and where we were going for martinis. I love my family. And I got to meet some friends of theirs that I hadn't gotten to before, so that was excellent. I won't go into any details, but suffice it to say that I had the greatest time ever and if you come and visit me in Boston, I'm sure you will, too.
- Fishing Club has been having a busy few weeks. But they've been awesome. We had a cookout a few weeks ago and Britt made a surprise visit! It was fabulous seeing her again. The kegs were also fabulous. Pat running over himself with his own car was less fun. How, you ask? He dropped his remote starter and when he went to pick it up somehow it activated and he pinned himself between his own car and another one. He split his kneecap in half vertically, and now he has to have surgery on Friday. Poor Seabass :-( But he's a trooper so he'll be okay!
- Easter was a good time. I had brunch with my family and spent the day with them before heading back to Salisbury for some Omaha steaks and beer with Andrew. I think we watched like 3 movies that day. But I finally got to see The Departed! It was AWESOME. And violent. Awesomely violent. I thought all the actors did really well, although Leo's accent I felt was probably the least convincing. Haha, man I sure do love Southie.
- Liz is in San Fran for the Student Research Conference and I bet she's having an excellent time with the sunny weather as opposed to the nonsense kind we've been having here. I wore a winter jacket today. It's fucking April. What the hell is going on???
- Graduation is dangerously close. I'm freaked out. I don't think I'm having any parties or anything, but if anyone's in town and wants to hang out with me and have a reason to get sloppily drunk, I encourage you!
That's pretty much it I think. Obviously, there are a million TV things I could address, but it would just be too much. Although I am getting really anxious for some Jim/Pam action. Prison Break was ridiculous. The last Locke based episode of Lost blew my frigging mind. There, that's it.
I'm in the writing center obviously. With Helen. Turns out we're both 58% slut, if you were curious. There's a client coming in at 8, and if Helen thinks I'm doing it, she's wrong. DEAD wrong. You hear that Helen?! I said you're DEAD. WRONG.
All right I should probably go do some work. Later, kittens.
