oh happy day...
so...i got a job!! yay! :) i actually have 2 at the moment. got hired on at sallie mae in the collections department. it's a call center. that's not my cup of tea. so..i was just gonna take it up the ass for awhile until something better came along. i was supposed to start april 4th. turns out, no need to bend over! i got a call a few days ago from Pendleton Place Apartments and they needed a leasing agent...since then i've gone through 2 interviews and i got the job!!:) i'm so excited cause this is what i saw myself doing when i withdrew from bsu and now it's happening...i almost feel that sense of security i've been lacking since february. so the next step is to call sallie mae and tell them i've found another position. the benefits are great too..i'll have insurance in 2 months. and a paid vacation after 6 months!! who knew?! so, i start tomorrow and all is great!
not much else to report. sat around a lot, starting the first season of 6 feet under, sat around a lot, watched matt wright serenade jane holmes with a uncanny rendition of "fools rush in," read a sylvia browne book...that's about it.
LUDO concert this saturday night w/ chris...that should be fun. assuming the lights don't get to be too much for the boy that should be in the plastic bubble.
i think that's about it. excited for the new job and i hope it opens some doors. k this has been a pretty long post, so i'll go for now. hope you are all doing ok! :) happy humpday!
