So wow, words can't even explain this weekend. Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to going to Kallah, I was actually really annoyed at the fact that I had to drive 4 1/2 hours by myself down to Ohio at night. But when I got there, and everyone came back from the OSU Hillel, I knew I had made the right decision. Especially when I saw Emilie and David, two of the other interns. The weekend went by incredibly fast, too fast. I want to be back there now, instead of here, in East Lansing. It is truly amazing that us interns, spent one Shabbat in Miami back in September, went back home and barely kept in touch, we spend another Shabbat together in Columbus, and we are closer now than what I ever thought possible. Emily is definetly my soulmate, its amazing how just one conversation at 2am in the hallway of a hotel can change everything. And, I think its great that about 10 of us (9 interns)decided Saturday night, to just all sleep in one room. 10 people, 2 beds, 4 to a bed, 2 in a chair and one that probably ended up on the floor at some point. We can definetly call that intern-cest!! But it was amazing to bond with these individuals again and no matter what we will all see each other again, especially if we are able to plan this final Shabbaton for the end of May. Either way, Emily and I are going to go out to Cali and see the interns out there and hang out for a long weekend.
here are just some pictures from this weekend...
