After much deliberation between myself and the clones, we have decided, by a 493-54 vote, to go with the yellow one, as it stands out more and makes the words easier to read ^_^

The yellow one really stands out better which really catches the eyes attention in a good way. :)

Both of these really have their charm with the different colors. I really think the yellow is eye-catching, but I don't like the way the yellow looks against white as much as the blue does, so that's the reason for me voting blue.

Either way, it'll look nice no matter which one you decide to choose!

On a completely different topic, which lj style should I make a layout for next? I have an idea, but am trying to decide which style to use.

S2 is awesome.
I've been trying to add some more of that.

Flexible Squares is fun and not too much css to comb through. You should give that a try!
