"Yes, Remy. It does appear that I'm already inside..."
Julien nodded when Remy offered him a seat, striding across the room and settling on the edge of the sofa. He folded his hands, watching Remy. Eden's Childe. It was hard to imagine the mortal Remy ever looking him in the eye - sometimes it was all Julien could do to keep the boy from having as asthma attack and dropping dead in front of him.
"I had no plans for the night. What can I help you with?"
Julien smiled, forcing himself not to think of Remy as the mortal boy he had been. It was time for a fresh start. "Well first of all, you can stop calling me Mister Thorn, and start calling me Julien. We're to be brothers, Remy. You're the same as I am now, and one day we'll fight beside each other."
Julien shifted slightly, pulling his Sidekick from his pocket and checking his messages - making sure that Eden wasn't wondering where he was, so he didn't bother dipping into his mind. "I'm here because Eden's birthday is coming up and I want to throw him a surprise party. Something intimate but fun. Just the family, and the pack of course. I was wondering if you wanted to help - if you're not busy, of course. I'm swamped as usual with commitments, but I can rearrange my schedule if needed. What do you think?"
