I'M GOING TO DESTROY THE GREAT HALL! WHY? ... WHY NOT?!
Sorry, this week has been a blur of, *collegecollegeschoolTORCHWOODtextbooksHALFBLOODPRINCEmoreschoolsuppliesshopping*..etc.
The ending for Torchwood was not as good as I expected. It wasn't bad, I just didn't like it as much as the first season. *shrug* I am glad that John turned out to be a good guy! It was kind of depressing that he seemed to be such a douche in his first appearance.
In regards to Half-Blood Prince: EXCELLENT. I think this is the first movie where I have completely agreed with all of the cuts that they made, and loved all of the bits they added in. Me being a big Bellatrix fangirl (Am I still a fangirl if her death was my favorite moment in Deathly Hallows?), I thought that all they added for her made a lot of the film for me.A big grin appeared on my face when she started to sing, "I killed Sirius Black!I killed Sirius Black!" Stop looking at me like that!
Lavender Brown was HILARIOUS. WON-WON FOR THE WIN.
The only complaint I really have is that I wish the Ginny/Harry plot didn't seem like such a non-event. Maybe because she looks so much younger than him, they decided to tone it down... maybe? Wasn't that big of a deal, just irked me a bit.
I was very pleased with Draco, Snape, and especially Dumbledore's death scene. Kudo's to all three for same major acting. GO TOM! This is the first time he's ever impressed me THIS much.
All in all, much love to the movie makers.
Back to college prep. Still haven't thrown away enough stuff. *scowls*
