WOW.
I finished Deathly Hallows last night.
WOW.
I will say this. I WOULD NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ENDING.
I was so afraid that Harry would die throughout this entire book it wasn't even funny. I really did think Jo was going to kill him. I AM SO GLAD I WAS WRONG.
I really think the Snape's memories were the best part of the book for me.(Not just because I've spent over a year pushing the Snape/Lily theory [HA!])
MOLLY'S LINE TO BELLA WAS WIN!!!!!!!
The part of the book that made me laugh the hardest was definitely the R/Hr make out. "Oi! There's a war going on here!""I know mate, so it now or never isn't it?" BWA HA HA!!!
Only Snape's line after Dumbledore asks Snape to kill him even comes close. "Would you like me to do it now? Or would you like a few moments to compose an epitaph?"
I cried for every single death. Fred's was devastating. I had the read the line about Remus and Tonks five times before it sunk in. I had to stop reading after the part about Harry digging Dobby's grave so I could cry.
The death of Snape just killed me, his last line was amazing. He just wanted Harry to look at him not for what he had done, but for who he was.
The revelations about Dumbledore's past didn't shock me so much. We all knew he had secrets. He carried his mistakes with him, and he learned. That is all any of us can do. Even great wizards.
I adored every single moment of the Epilogue. Harry's comforting line to Albus was perfect.
I was wrong about a lot of my theories, and that's okay.
I love this book. I love this ending. I have truly loved this series, right until the very end.
