so, the wiper didn't get better. got worse. and i had to tell daddy, on the off chance he could fix it. he couldn't, but he refused to let me leave for nyc with it like that. he called in a favor with my cousin dave (who is going thru a divorce and lost his gramma on thanksgiving day, so, that's a BIG favor), and he got it fixed within 6 hours yesterday. so i can drive worry free again, but i never made it to nyc, which totally bums me out.
anyway. now i've got to leave for dc, because i don't want to risk missing work.
i lvoe my dad, and it's been kind of nice just having a two day mini vacation up here. aside from the hassle of the wiper, and my well laid plans totally falling through, it's been very relaxing. i got a whole bunch of clothes on the cheap at old navy, and got some x-mas shopping done at target. i got my thyroid meds and in general am better off for having made the trip.
in other news, report your gas prices! i hadn't realized how many blank spots there are on the map!
