twısty staırs and last days

the stairs ın ıstanbul all twist. i'd like to use this as a metaphor, but can't think how. mostly it means we walk carefully and trip when we forget.
yesterday was mostly calm after the post. we took a nice ferry ride, had some dimmer, ferried back and went to bed. i needed the sleep.
today we are goıng to a hammam.
so now i am going to go do that
