i slept over at helena's yesterday because she is wonderful and i love her and my apt. was full of bedbug killing atmosphere.
we talked and snuggled and it was good. woke up early to get the day working. spent too much money at bed bath and beyond, but my matress now has a theoretically bug proof cover *crosses fingers*
then i came home and put said bed cover on (of course, it promptly got ripped on the door, but i think i fixed it with the clever applicastion of packing tape). i also ripped up all the carpeting in the bedroom nook (also know as the box). i've still got to rip up the carpeting on the cubby (also known as the platform) but that can wait till tomorrow.
showered, checked some mail and went to an interview with a company i interviewed with last fall, too. get your shit together guys.
it seemed hopeful, but the semester is from july - nov, and i don't think they'll give me a month of for europe, so it's back to the drawing board.
tried to set up a dinner date with keri, but no luck. instead i went to the gym and then hung out at the bar. also spent an hour in duane reade waiting for them to figure out how to fill my prescription (grrr). then more bar time. no drinking, tho. just hanging out. i'll enjoy my non-alcoholic phase while it's around.
slowly made my way home, talked with schmitty, and now here i am. i had meant to go to prospect heights to pick up my deposit from antoni and refill my bc scrip (and see if i could transfer it) but that was a no go. maybe tomorrow before the met with flick? maybe?
it was nice to relax. i only have an hour of work tomorrow (which is irritating, because i could have gone to dc otherwise, but whatev), so i am splitting it between flick in the morning and helena/bogie in the evening. i think it will be lurvley.
it's almost like having a weekend!
