dueling subconciouses

this is a good thing. it is fantastic seeing him again, meeting his friends, and relieving some of my almost toxic level of homesickness.
i have two brains on the regard. the larger, more vocal one is glad he is here, glad we can be friends, and just happy in general.
the smaller, i'm gonna go with Id-like one, is all confused and aggitated. it's all "china? are we in china? are we back to the old days? if we're back in the old days why aren't we behaving that way? what's up with this?"
so, there is some frustration there....moments of "wellll......urgh!" with a fire in my belly.
the vodka didn't help.
but, that aside, i am beyond giddy to have him around, and i think tomorrow will go better. it's getting thru the first time around on a new ride that's always the hardest, right?
