When you start a business, they tell you that failure comes because you are not prepared to wait for success or you are unprepared for success when it comes. Most small business throw in the towel to early or didn't plan for long term financing. Or, once they finally start to grow they don't have a plan or the resources to deal with it. Small business owners are told, make a 5 year plan, make it workable and be prepared to deal with growth. You are attempting to start a small business. You have a marketable product that you need to get others to buy. So, what is your business plan? Stop thinking with your heart start thinking with your head, what do you need to do to keep you together and still sell your "product"? Are you ready for the long haul it will take to get it to market? Finally, the most important piece of advise: Networking It may be overplayed, but it was what helped me get going and it is what still keeps me going. Knowing people, putting your name out to everyone even peripherally involved, it really works. If you need to move home for a little while, to get your feet back under you, that's not failure. That's smart. I could never have done some of things I have done, if I hadn't asked people for help and accepted help when offered. Take a leave of absense, don't break any important ties, figure out how it has to work and try again. Either way, you know you are going to succeed, sooner or later. If you stay, start thinking the way you did when you were in Beijing. That was a foriegn country, but you succeeded, How? Anyway, I guess I am predjudiced, I would always prefer you home so I can give you kisses and hugs, sigh Really, Really love you!
