my legs hurt

#1: this week i have worn my cream courduroy capris twice. why is this important? because i haven't been able to fit into them in almost two years. granted, it's a JUST made it, but a definite made it. this is augmented by the scale in the bathroom saying i've FINALLY broken into the next set of numbers on the scale (ie: 340's instead of 350's - which is NOT the number, just trying to think of an example that won't give the number away)

#2: I worked at a sbux on madison avenue today. it's the first time i've worked out of store, and it was an interesting experience. they seemed to like me there, so hopefully i've found a place to pick up hours if i need to.
AND, madison ave people are wretched. i was steaming milk for a cappucino, and the steamer didn't shut off, and the milk came spilling all over my hand. 200 degree milk. it hurt...ALOT...and i couldn't swear and still had to make the drink. and the woman saw this happen to me, saw me wrap my hand in a cold wet towel and keep going to get her drink out to her - and when she got the drink she said "this foam is too thin. you need to remake it"
BITCH.
i like my chelsea boys and theatre people and random times squarers, thankyouverymuch.

#3: after work (at 33rd and Mad), i decided to walk home. home to 108th and Lex. that's 75 blocks and 4 avenues. myra tells me that 20 blocks are a mile, so i effectively walked 4 miles today, after a 9 hour shift. i feel like i earned the hong chao doufu i ordered for dinner (real chinese! tastes almost just like a chengduxioachi!)

#4: my daddy said he'd buy me rollerblades, and my brother got me a new mp3, and my sister got me pretty earrings, and my mom gave me booze money. my family rocks. now i need to figure out what kind of blades i want.

#5: schmitty comes into town tomorrow. :-D that's all. just lots of smilies.

#6: the official plans are central park picnic friday, coney island saturday and soulive sunday.

aubbi day, work, weight, walking, birthday, chinese, schmitty
