I swear Miss M talks way more than Tai did at her age. I was comparing what she says now (at 20 months) to what Tai said at 2 years, and it's just about the same - though he had more colors and numbers and shapes than she does. Even so, her communication is growing so quickly. My mom was out of town for a week and when she got back, she said Miriam was at a whole new level of talking. Here's a (very) long list of the words and phrases she's saying. (These she'll all say on her own. She can copy just about anything - to Tai's endless amusement. He loves to get her to say "potty words" and they can crack up for ages, saying such hilarious things as "stinky poop foxy! Stinky poop mommy!" Gales of laughter.)
