new project for this journal
After being down with the cold for 3 days, I am finally feeling a lot better now. And I was thinking of doing something on this journal aside from posting the usual things that is happening in my life. I decided to make an anime, jrock and kpop song recommendation page which would be posted every week or when I am in the mood to do so. I have so many comments and opinion on a song that I would like to express so I just thought of this project. I could probably do the same when I have an mp3 rotation site but since that cannot happen for now (being on dial-up), this would have to do for the meantime. This is another one of my not important and taking-more-time project so I will see how I will fare with this endeavor. Thank God for this journal and I have a place to do these things...^_^.
In the meanwhile, I got a poem which I would just like to share with everyone.
START WITH YOURSELF
When I was young and free
and my imagination has no limits,
I dreamed of changing the world.
As I grew older and wiser,
I discovered the world would not change,
so I shortened my sights somewhat
and decided to change my country.
But it, too, seemed immovable.
As I grew into my twilight years,
in one last desperate attempt,
I settled for changing only my family,
those closer to me, but alas,
they would have none of it.
And now as I lie on my deathbed,
I suddenly realize;
If I had only changed myself first,
then by example
I would have changed my family.
From their inspiration and encouragement,
I would then have been able
to better my country and, who knows,
I may have even changed the world.
