So. I'll be doing the customary topic-to-topic jump throughout this post. Let's see if you can keep up.
I just got back a while ago from my volunteer job at the hospital. I worked at the Surgery Waiting Room with these two sweet little old ladies who, while sweet, were impatient that I didn't know where all these rooms were. We'd get a call at our very large desk, asking for the family of Mr. Somebody to come back to the Recovery room to say hello to him. My job was to take the family's back to the Recovery room. Well... I didn't know where that was! It was just stressful having these nervous old people/big families trailing behind me on my way to God only knows.
Sigh. I got lost (check it) twice.
Hm... my sister, Blair, is pregnant. My mother has gotten so excited. She's bought a truckload of baby clothes (girl and boy because it's too early to know what it is yet), a crib, a changing station, and a stroller. And not only are Blair and Stephen going to have a baby, so is their dog, Macy. Eight to ten, in fact. IN TEN DAYS! Stephen took her to the vet today because her tummy got round so he assumed Macy and Duke did the dirty deed. Turns out, Macy's gonna have her puppies much sooner than he thought.
Everyone thinks I'm kidding, but I am getting one of their puppies. They'll be so adorable, it isn't even funny.
Hm... A few days ago, my dad got in a wreck. He was stopped at a red light and two cars behind him, this huge SUV thing didn't stop and rammed into a tiny truck which rammed into my dad's BMW. The car that he had just taken to get the oil changed and the engine checked. The car that rivals his love for me. Yes, that car. It's really rather sad. The trunk is crushed. It's going to take forever to get it fixed. In the meantime, my dad is going to fly back to his job (instead of driving like he usually does) and pick up a car there. He drives his high profile clients around so it's going to have to be something akin to what he's used to.
Blah blah blah.
Anyway, I'm very tired so I'll post more some other time.
(By the way, the answers to my word problems are on the last entry in the comments!)
