So, did anyone watch the MTV movie awards ceremony last night? Was it just me or was anyone else shocked by how outrageous Sarah Silverman was? Some of her things were funny, yes, and I know that her comedy style is known for being "edgy"... but still: She should have toned it down for an event catered to a younger crowd. I could not believe how mean she was to Paris Hilton. I realize that Paris isn't well liked and it's "the thing to do" to say, "Oh, I hate Paris Hilton!"
But still. I thought that was really low class of Sarah to be so ... well, mean when she knew that the subject of her vulgar jokes was sitting right there!
On a different note, I told a little fib to my volunteer coordinator. Today is our orientation and after three years, I just felt orientated-out. I understand that it is important... if you are new and don't know the rules. But honestly, I know how to wash my hands. Which is what they tell you how to do over FOUR hours. So I called this morning and told the lady that a last minute church event came up and that'd I have to miss today's orientation.
See how bad I am? I use CHURCH to lie. Well, it wasn't a real lie because a church thing did come up. However, I just wasn't going to go to that either. And that's how I managed to get out of doing the unpleasantry that is orientation.
And let's see. Emilie won't return my calls so I haven't seen her all summer... I'm getting increasingly fatter as I haven't gone to the gym in ages... I have the palest skin in the world because no sunbathing to speak of...
Aren't I just the most pathetic girl ever? Hahaha. Well, off to download some tunes.
