just quick, though:
visiting in VA last week was excellent. things worked out well… we really made the rounds despite having only a week to see people and no pre-laid plans. all the visits felt far too short (and we missed a few people entirely =/), but so it goes. it was great to see the people we did get to see. i miss you guys.
i’m continuing to be fairly quiet online… this is because my computer has turned out to be a very special british computer with no built-in way of running on american voltage. computer gurus tell us that using an external voltage converter might end in tragedy, so i’m computerless till we get my computer to the techs so they can rummage about in its guts and give it a $100 transplant. booo. i’m just not as talkative when accessing from other people’s machines, library machines, etc.
so yes. that’s where i am. and now off to sleep, this hour is ridiculous. adventures were had and i am exhausted. =)
