Woke up in the wee hours of the morning, yelling in pain as I rolled over. Apparently, I slept way wrong, which has caused me oh so tremendous pain, even after pain killers and/or ibuprofin. Work tomorrow shall suck.
There's a massive storm coming in. They say that we'll have extremely huge wind gusts and an "alarming" amount of rain. I already heard the thunder. I had prayed that the heat wave would break - I got my wish. Granted, it hasn't yet, so it still feels like armpit in my livingroom, but I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that after today's thick, disgusting heat, we shall have temps in the high 60's/low 70's again. (Hence, the storm, I suppose.)
Got disks one and two for season one of Heroes in from Netflix yesterday, wee! (I've only ever seen the first six eps, and that was ages ago.) Watched the first one last night (Hiro is the most adorable person ever, I've come to realize.) including the unaired pilot featuring the original terrorist plot line they had. Spent today sweating, grunting in pain, knitting, and watching Dead Like Me. Did I mention I've been sweating? Oh, and Bacci still insists on sleeping on my lap. She even does the "hot kitty" positions, which is silly - get off my freaking lap, you'll be cooler! She sneaks in there, too, so I don't even realize she's on my lap until I suddenly start sweating again - Oops, there she is!!
Yes, I knit. I always wished I was this crazily talented crafting individual like Andrea, but alas, my creativity lies in logical areas, not artistic. I don't craft that much at all, but realized that my purse is so disgustingly old now that it's high time that I create a new one. So - I craft for need, not for the sake of crafting. Funny how that works.
