Back from the dentist and everything is beyond groovy, apparently! He was extremely shocked to see what a beautiful "coral pink" my gums are, as most people apparently still have some redness and irritation at this point, with some possible swelling. So yay for exceeding with the healing! Woo! He said that pain is still expected at this point and gave me another prescription for Vicodin as well as some tips for taking Ibuprofin instead. He also said that my upper right one was a bitch to get out, which is why they didn't even touch the upper left one. They left that one in as it's never pushed past the gumline and is below the point where it should ever cause me any issues.
After the removal, I could feel the stitches in my two lower sockets, but the top right one felt smoooooth, if tender. A few days ago, it developed a weird nib. I thought it might be food particles, but it would never move and was extremely tender whenever I even thought of touching it.
Apparently, I've been carrying a giant piece of FOOD around in my empty tooth hole for like four days.
YUM.
He removed it, and I have a shiny feeling crater, just like the other two, so it's business as usual!
I was a bit hungry but didn't feel like dealing with real food immediately before bed, so I'm having me some delicious chocolate Silk(tm) instead! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I bought it on a whim and am so in love.
