Home from work now and officially up .... 31 hours at the time that I'm typing this. I'm not feeling as tired as I thought I would, especially for doing this not once, but TWICE this week. I'm loopy, to be sure, and my sentences don't make exact sense, but... hey.

It's sad that tomorrow is Saturday and the last day of the workweek, and they STILL don't have next week's schedule out. It's so freaking frustrating, since I desperately need to know what I'm working next week, moreso than usual. They're installing a new computer system on Wednesday, so I will probably be working eleven hours that day, from 9 pm until 8 am. I hear that I'll have one, maybe two, more overnights adjacent to that one, but he's not sure which days. He also knows ("he" is Captain Kirk, btw) that I will be working 4 am on Monday. It would please me OH so greatly if I end up with an overnight for Tuesday, as well - that's the day of the visit, and it would mean that I don't have to be there when the big scary cheeses arrive.

James approached me today and said that he was considering taking over my position when I become a key carrying supervisor. ?!@?!?!?!?!?? You.. whaaaa? First of all, I hadn't told anyone (other than all of you, under lock and key, of course) and had been told that management were the onl ones to know - and that they didn't want ME to know, really, because they didn't want my feelings hurt if something went awry and I didn't get the promotion. Apparently, though, it leaked and is all over the store, and people are already asking for my position. Call me selfish and egotistical, but I ... really don't trust what I do on a daily basis to .. well, ANY of my coworkers that aren't currently supevisors. James - bless his heart - has worked there for two years and still cannot shoot labels, though he has been shown millions of times. How will he handle in depth label printing, auditing, shipping, receiving, planogramming, etc? And I would have to train him? I.. .really don't have the patience for that.

It's almost April, and it's currently snowing big, fat, hairy flakes outside.xccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc

Bacci says "hi". Actually, it was more of a reeeeeach and a sniff facey kiss greeting, but that works, too.

I think I shall try to sleep now. I go in at 10 pm tonight.

I hurt.

snow, work, insomnia
