Oh my gaw, do I feel ill.
I woke up this morning, hurting all over, as if I had climbed the side of the mountain on my finger and toe tips, using every muscle in my body to keep from plunging to my death. A little while after getting to work, the sinus pressure of doom began. I took some Dayquil like stuff, and was just mostly stoned for a few hours. After I ate lunch, I felt vomitous and COMPLETELY out of it, as the sinus pressure came back with a vengeance, without the stonedness leaving. Joy. Now I'm freezing and shaking, though I have the space heater on high and extra clothing on. This is all I need.
Dreamed something about going to Good Time Charlies, the bar I frequented in Phoenix, and saying hello to.. Dayton? Was that his name? The adorable Native American bartender that loved to feel the softness of the back of my hands whenever I went in. Then dreamed I was at work helping a customer, then went into receiving, pulled down my pants, sat on a step stool in the corner and peed. and peed. and peed. and peed. I smiled as I did it, as it was totally felt like something I would naturally do in my dream. I was quite surprised at how MUCH I peed. Yancey then came around the corner and spotted me peeing in the corner and was like "OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?" and left to do something. I was instantly mortified, wondering how the hell I could play it off so no one would know how I urinated in receiving. I worked at my desk for a bit, then walked by the area, seeing a large, half dried pond of urine in the corner and wondered if I should ... mop it up? If someone sees me mopping it, wouldn't that just draw more attention to it?
I then heard the beginning of a song by Wolfmother. I was picturing just when the drums would come in, and suddenly... I was at a party, PLAYING drums in a band as we performed the song! Everyone was excited! I was extremely pleased at what a natural I was on the drums! Part way through the song, however, my cymbol started falling off! I clambored for it and tried to get it hooked back up, as I played drums, trying not to let anyone notice that it was falling apart. (It was a weird contraption like a desk with a pull out keyboard tray that had two drums on it, and the cymbol - the one cymbol I had - was on a vice like thing that connected it to the desk.) The drums kept sliding back under the desk on the keyboard tray, so I would have to try to hold the cymbol up and yank the drawer out and hit the drums with my other hand. Mike, my old drummer, helped me to realize it wasn't as much of a catastrophe as I thought it would be, and helped me to set it right again. See? The drums are still being hit in the correct place!
When the song ended, I woke up and realized that my clock radio alarm had gone off, and it was time to get up.
