Does anyone out there remember Bloom County?

And yeah, I realize I'm a little young for it -- the strip started when I was one and ran until I was nine or so -- but I found an old collection of my cousin's, and am *absolutely fucking in love with it*.  'Outlands' and 'Opus' were good -- but 'Bloom County' -- yeah.  The irony! The surrealism! The political commentary!

Loved Bloom county had all the collections. Have not liked the reincarnations. only the original.

Oh, me too! The strip is *sublime*, and now I can read through the whole thing at my leisure! I even found the really really early ones, with the Major and Binkley before he had all that hair! The Internet is *awesome*.

oh YES! (I realise I am also, too young to actually remember this. My dad has almost all the books with all the strips and I read them in high school)
