Better Things
Let me introduce myself. Cory Raines. Bank robber, pirate, highwayman, hijack specialist... the list of my accomplishments is lengthy, if somewhat mono-thematic. I make a much better criminal than I do an honest man, and I've been a thief for almost eight hundred years.
I know. Being an Immortal is supposed to be serious business, what with the Game and the Prize and the blah blah blah. As far as I'm concerned, the entire thing is a monumental waste of time. Life is short, even for us, and I've got better things than that on which to spend my energy.
