More of the same
- Yesterday I accompanied my mother to a small birthday party of a girl who's friends with her friend (kinda. It turns out their common friend is...Hard to get along with. This girl decided that CW is too...you know. But it was her birthday party (At no point did she mention her age.) and it was at a Korean restaurant (which is why I came along!) under the bowling alley in a creepy, sleazy part of town (Nothing came of it, despite being at night. Just saw some drunks stumbling around.). Birthday Girl is with her acupuncturist, Acu's son, and Bday Girl's little sister, in the karaoke room. Bday Girl is pretty good at karaoke. Later on, another friend of Bday Girl dropped by. Soon afterwards, we had to go rescue a weasel.
- We got our new little boog-o-tron. It's a girl, ~`7mo. Roan, has an unusual mask (Where'd I put my old camera. I still need to find my new cam's cable. AFTER 4 YEARS. Why do I process time like an old person.), but she came with a carrying cage, not a 3 story cage. Her name is Rikki Tikki Tavvi, and already she's having conflicts with Cindy (No longer the softest ferret we have. Rikki is super squishy and soft!), with Cindy chasing after her and getting right up at her nape...And then Rikki would start squeaking in distress, and Cindy would get thrown in jail. With Cindy around, Rikki hisses and runs around. Button doesn't seem to care, and Goji just wants to sniff her butt. Cindy would slowly, stealthily follow Rikki (without her tail puffed, usually.) and then start chasing Rikki and upsetting her.
- At first, Draco would get really excited to sniff Rikki's butt and freak her out, but after a bit, Rikki began to chase after him and try to pounce.
- My brother's getting better after his tonsillectomy. It's like day 9-10 or something, and days ~7-10 are the worst, the doctors said. I was surprised at how chatty he was yesterday (relatively speaking)
- I decided to cave in and blow some of my PFD on Lamy Safaris, because I neeeeeeeeeded more. I just got the pink one a few days ago (think that's 2010's limited edition.) and am expecting blue, turquoise, yellow, red w/ Chrome clip, charcoal, and white. Later, I'll probably get a gray (black clip. Despite their rarity, they're not popular.) and maybe an orange. I ordered a lime Nexx because lime Safaris are like $130 on Ebay, and that's just ridiculous (I think Lime is 2008. My grayscale Safaris have varying nib widths (Vista: EF - Charcoal: B) and my Red w/Black clip has EF because it's my correction pen. The colored pens will have matching ink.
- What do I want for my birthday?? INK. LOTS OF. Unfortunately, the store where they sell pens and ink freaks my brother out a bit.
- For my bro's bday on December 11, I got him a Libelle Chromatic gunmetal pen. Seller just cancelled transaction because he ran out of stock. Siiighhhh.
- My new Aurora gemstone pen came a few days ago, so I used the section and put the rest in storage. I got my old friend back!!
