Listening to Madeline Peyroux's "This is Heaven to Me" while watching the longest funeral procession I've ever seen was a surreal experience.
I made a baby sweater, because I was bored and had enough yarn and hell, if I mess that up, it doesn't matter. I took it to work to show Terry. One of the regulars wants me to make one for her husband's niece, or some such, and she offered me $50 to do so.
This, I do believe, could be the start of something. And even if not, I get half a skein of alpaca blend and 34 dollars profit.
Also, I'm crossing my fingers that the lady who bought the yarn garden will hire some new people. Cause I'd rock as a snarky yarn garden employee, and I am damn helpful.
If not, I've got the bondage knits to fall back on...
