Okay first off YAY CHAPTER!
Joey is an adorable little girl, and so smart! I have a feeling that will benefit her A LOT in the future (because I thinks moms about to lose it).
I'm not sure what Genie was getting at not wanting her to wear 'girly' clothes but I do like that she had that moment of thinking 'oh that didn't come out right' I know I'm always gushing over how realistic I think your characters are but it's really the thing that makes you stand out among most of the stories I read :D
That is such a horrible thing to have happen, especially since Genie is clearly not all that stable. This is only going to add more pressure to their marriage and that is such a sad thought :(
All in all it was a pretty good chapter, even if the ending was sad. Hopefully that writers block doesn't hold you up to long. Try not to force your story into a plot line, let it flow a bit more organically and it should be easier to write (that's how I do it). Good luck!

You know you could gush over my characters nonstop and I would never get over appreciating it <3 Thank you so much for the lovely compliment! It always makes me happy to hear that! I have been working really hard on making my characters realistic, that's always the goal for me!

Yeah the miscarriage is not exactly helping matters, at all. We'll see how they deal with it next chapter. :(

But thank you! I'm trying to do that, and it's hopefully working! I've had the outline of this generation planned for a long time, but it's the details that are really getting me right now (how do I get from where I am right now to the end point, and all that). I'll try to take your advice! <3

Oh my God, the ending is so sad but I can't even fully be sad because Graham and Joey are just <3 <3 <3!
I'm all caught up now and I'm loving it already, but I am here to inform you that it is 100% okay to spam more of the father-daughter love xD
Also, it was wonderful to see the family in one place again!
