I have had a good week. I felt the need to report this to you.
A rundown:
+Saw the majority of my "friend/party circle" this weekend. It made me feel very nostalgic but VERY happy. I've been missing the first semester of my sophomore year: waking up every Saturday morning on the couch in the living room of The Church with a nasty hangover and Elliott Smith's self-titled album on the record player. Glorious stories and a constant stream of good people and good times.

+Rain.
+My truck is completely free from the death grip of the snow.
+rediscovering The Smashing Pumpkins (again, and again, and again, and again...)
+Sarah Ea. is a fucking badass. This is old news, but it needed to be said again. She and I had a lengthy discussion about how cool we are today because WE know who Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is and love them as such. Then we talked about Ding Dong School and various things concerning writing, children's television, horror films...yes. New BFF and mentor, fo' sho'. Ray and I have decided that she is our cool aunt who occasionally comes to visit and leaves us euphoric as such for a month.
+I now own Why?'s Elephant Eyelash AND Oaklandazulasylum on vinyl. And Kid A by Radiohead.
+First radio show of the semester was awesome. Again, Sundays from 10am-noon. Listen to it live at www.wiux.org and learn yo'self summat.
---two ladies who are both older than I hit on me within a week of one another and really creeped me out. No me gusta. One is already acting stalkerish. It reminds me of one of my stalkers from back in high school (you know, the one that followed me to those shows across town that one night and then tried to get me to go somewhere with him and his friends-then Adam offered to beat him up for me!). NO ME GUSTA.
+/- I am sick of women and feeling extremely heterosexual these days despite still having enough cultural capital to suggest that I am solely gay. Strange and stupid.
+++I am more than aware of my complete awesomeness and, as such, continue to think that I have no time for bitches, the rude, and people that don't care about me. I feel no shame in burning useless bridges these days.
+/-I am aware that I am currently breaking some hearts. I don't like it, but it must be done.
