A Sincere Introduction
Hello. My name is Michael Howard. Sometimes people call me Howard, and sometimes I am called Howie. Whatever you want to call me will be fine with me. My life has taken some twists over the past couple of years. Sometimes it has been good and other times it has been not so good. One thing that can be said is that has not been anything like a normal experience. Don't get me wrong, I do not dwell on the past as much as I used to. I have awakened to a different possible future for myself, and I aim to achieve it. Though what I face before me may destroy me I have to go on and find a way. I am too far along to think of a return to where I started from. It is what has been since the day I decided to come home from Italy, and most likely before then: Fight or die. Sometimes I have asked "why me", or "what is all this for". Every time there was no answer for me accept further drifting into oblivion. I hit a bottom this summer when I couldn't even show up for a camping trip. Since then I have vowed to never go back there again. I have my friends and loved ones helping me, and I have a blade in my back giving me no choice. Though things have been rather harsh I am not going to be bitter over what had happened to me or what I have done. This is my fight, and this is my story.
