even good companies make zinfandels. there's nothing really wrong with it, it's the nasty cheap ones they advertise on tv with 30 something cum dumpsters that are gross.

my new favorite wine is a chenin blanc. it's very sweet almost like an asti spumanti but not bubbly. but. it's still rich and quite tasty. sweet wines are dessert wines. it's so you can drink it with something sweet and not turn your face up in bitter knots.

yeah i actually really want to try a real red zinfandel, i just don't like light wines, they somehow just taste like a hangover to me.

i get more headaches and hangovers from red wines than from white. they tend to have more sulfites i think. but that could be bullshit.

oh yes.l and there are good wines that come in boxes. it's not the container that matters, but who makes it.

really? i haven't tried any myself, but i read a thread on a wine forum a while back where somebody was asking if there was any good boxed wine, and a few people replied back that mixing grape juice with vodka would produce a better tasting and more authentic wine, so i got kind of scared-off by that.

but then i should probably remember how people tend to get on forums.

dont know you, but i found your livejournal on google when i was searching for antique desks. hunh.

just wanted to tell you that i had plenty of similar experiences with ole mary before i turned 21, and reading about yours made me laugh. but dont lose heart .. before you know it, youll be like, getting ice cream with her and taking your dogs for walks and doing photobooth pictures and things. bffl
