Good to meet you - always a pleasure to become acquainted with another revolutionary spirit. I had a suspicion something odd was going on with Yelena. It's her birthday, then. Excellent. That ought to be more fun than watching the news in this town.
I'm thinking something pretty low impact; wouldn't want to suprise her too much or we might find out what it feels like to shit ourselves unconscious. Maybe dinner and a trip to a bowling alley will do the trick. Her devious little mind will keep wondering what the trap's going to be, so she'll be looking over her shoulder all night. I'll start looking for a good Italian place. Do you know who else we should invite?
Given the weird shit I've seen in the last two weeks, I'm kind of suprised there hasn't been more media coverage. Is there some kind of active cover up, or does nobody actually care?

She likes bowling? Huh. Interesting. All right. She'll want to drink, so we'd better find a restaurant with a good bar. Something more than a wine menu, I'd guess. As for who to invite, she seemed pretty close to that Elena woman - blonde gunwoman always wearing a suit - but I haven't seen her around recently. She went out for coffee with Ryoji once, but I'm pretty sure he's my age or younger, and it was only the once, that I know of. They're not that close. She's spoken to Vash and that little mousy librarian girl more than once, I guess. She knows Chase, though, fairly well. If I leave Lace to guard the house and Molly, I can probably convince him to come along.

As for the social mess, it's pretty much the norm here. Weird shit goes down about once a month, people either pretend it didn't happen or complain loudly, and the government tries to hide it and make it look like they're doing something about it, or that it's their actions that made it stop. A lot of bull. Hard to get any good evidence that they're behind the stuff, though. The two most visible MDEA agents seem pretty unhappy most of the time, and they'll let stuff leak to help people out if they can, but never enough and always pretty ambiguous.
