It looks like I am in fact going out with laurent this evening, but not till like, 8:30/9ish. Can I buy you a birthday drink/coffee beforehand? Depending on how terrible the rain/traffic is on my ride home from CT today, I should be home around 5:30 the latest--then din w/the moms and dad, and I should be homefree by no later than 7:30. Busted! I know you didn't read my whole entry because you would have seen that I have plans this evening also. I am going out to dinner with the girls in Boston. I'd love to see you, though, this weekend just happens to actually be busy!

Jill, this all sounds like so much fun! Your birthday sounds wonderful (I'm excited about your flowers!) and it's even more exciting that all this Boston stuff is coming together - and all your HC friends will be there! You're going to thrive in Beantown, of this I'm sure. I wish I could have come out and celebrated your birthday with you! Sorry I didn't get to call back; I sounded like a frog and we were out late for Derek's mom's birthday because his step-sister showed up, you know, right after we had finished eating and then wanted to order for herself. But we'll have to go out for a late birthday celebration next month -- not sure when I'll be home exactly, but it'll be somewhere between the 10th and 25th, because my grandparents are moving on the 17th and my cousin is graduating on my birthday. (What a nice day they picked for it!)

Anyway, I'm glad things are looking up right now, even at work!! :) It's nice to have that new friend energy, especially with co-workers! And more than 2 margs? Woah, Jill!
