You're Still Here
So this Saturday I'll be 23. Kathy and I are going to the Electric Six show at the Blind Pig that night. If you want to join us, I think there are still tickets available on Ticketmaster, or you can try your luck at the door, which opens at I think 9:30. Tickets are like $13 a pop. Other than that, I want to do something beforehand, maybe get some dinner at Pizza House or Good Time Charlie's before the show at 6:30. If you're interested in either event, call my cell so I know for how many people to try and get a table. For I would like to see you because I miss you.
I have an apartment for the fall! And after all my searching, I ended up at Abbott Pointe. I just signed the lease today. Thank you Megan H. for pointing that one out! That Ikea nesting instinct is starting to kick in. I still need to find some living room furniture and a new bookshelf since my current one is bending under the weight of my books.
Only two more weeks left of work, which is great since the accrual of trouble is starting to crack my facade. I think things will be easier once I move into the apartment and I don't have to deal with the commute and family. I mean lately I've been snapping like a twig at the slightest provocation and that's not good for anyone.
Finally, let me just say that I've been having a bloody great time with Kathy this summer. From going to the Electric Six video shoot to our many walks in downtown A2, hanging out with her has put me at ease, no matter how bad other shit has gotten.
