wowzers
last night was a very very kick ass night... me, alan, and steve went to the NFG, FINCH, SOMETHING CORPORATE, AND FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER show at the webster
we were running a little late, so i knew the line was going to be around the block to get inside... so we get there, and my predictions were correct, so i went looking up and down the line a bunch of times looking for ashley, cuz i knew she'd been there for a long time so i could get in line with her.... i finally gave up and headed for the back of the line.. i look throgh the line in the parking lot and i see her sittin in cats car.. all those times lookin were useless when she was 2 ft from where we were in line.. so we go to the front with her and this dickhead guard kicks us out and made us go to the back of the line, so we waited to get in for like an hour and some-odd minutes to get inside.... now onto the actual show
we got inside and right away i found ashley, tiffany and cat, so we stayed with them throughout the show... further seems forever was ending their set pretty much when i got inside which pissed me off cuz i wanted to see them the most.. but the 3 songs or so i saw were amazing
then something corporate came on... they have a shit load of talent.. andrews lyrics are amazing, and the instrumental talent of the whole band is incredible..
finch came up next... one word..... wow... i've seen em like 3 times already prior to this, and every time they amaze me even more.. not much more i can say besides wow
new found glory closed the show.... the 3 times i had seen them before this they weren't all that good, like sound quality wise, but this time they kicked ass, they sounded soo good... my feet and back were hurtin like a fucker cuz i could barely move since it was so packed so i couldn't like stretch out like i normally do at shows, but oh well, it was worth it...
throughout the show, ashley and i got a little closer ;)... she's so fuckin awsome, and she's a real good kisser.. ya know, she doesn't try to lick the back of my throat, which is a good thing hehe.. there's nothin better than spendin time at a show, listenin/seeing some of your favorite bands, with the girl you really like.. it's just a really good feeling... too bad she lives in old saybrook.... i must have a thing for girls that live far away.. i mean this ain't florida like carly hehe, but still, she lives like almost an hour away which is shitty.. but there's nothin i can do about that one can i?
