ok im sure im not the only one that has a few thoughts about this. i hope im not anyway. TV needs a new concept. reality is getting so fucking lame. it was cool in the beginning with survivor. at least you might learn something in that show but now theres shows such as "the biggest loser". this must have been the last living brain cell in this guys

not for nothing, but isn't al tv generally a disapointment? sure you have your occasional good show that are specific to each person (i loved "sports night" although it got canceled after like 2-3 seasons, but i never really liked "seinfeld" which was the biggest hit this side of instant potatos.....)

even on reality tv a lot of it is scripted or pushed in a way that the execs feel will bring in better raitings. there has never been true "reality" tv. even on survivor there was a camera crew and doctors and stuff. all tv is reality to the extent that you want to believe it. the latest craze is to go down to centeral casting and pick the sex hottest people you can find and make them eat wild badger placenta or something like that. there are people that make their living on "reality" tv. if you were looking for anything more than mild entertainment from the glowing box in the living room, you're going to be very disapointed.

as for vh1 - i'm sure you know it's owned by mtv, and therefore has really just become a clone. fuse does play videos for now, but it doesn't get any raitings, so the station is forced to adapt to the wants of the viewers - even if it pisses you off. unfortunately, there aren't enough people that want to watch videos to truly make a difference.....
