Closing Weekend for FLIGHT
Gala Closing Night Party
The long and successful FLIGHT, The Rise and Fall of Charles Lindbergh is coming to an end, and we are very sad. The show has garnered critical acclaim, but most importantly, the audience reaction has been amazing. We played to near sold out crowds last weekend and expect more of the same for this final weekend.
Our final 2 shows are on Friday, March 23rd at 8 PM and our closing gala event on Saturday, March 24th at 8 PM. The gala will come immediately after the show's final performance.
Tickets for Friday are $20, and for the Gala they are $25. There may be a few half-price tickets at Plays411.com, or you can buy tickets online at www.attictheatre.org/tickets or call the box office at 323-525-0600 x2# See you at the THEATRE!
ATTIC To Receive Generous Grant
Newman Family Foundation Gives the ATTIC Five Thousand Dollar Grant
We are very pleased to announce that the Newman Family Foundation has given the ATTIC a $5000 grant for capital improvements to the theatre space. The grant will be used for new outdoor lighting, a new sign, finishing putting a roof on the backstage greenroom area, and other needed additions to the theatre.
We were introduced the Newman Family Foundation by our member, Elizabeth Newman. She took our request to their board of directors and convinced them that we really needed the money for these improvements. THANK YOU, ELIZABETH!
The new lighting and signage will make it safer on approaching the theatre at night and also much easier to find us as you drive by on busy Washington Blvd.
