Hungry, hungry hippo!
I had a perfectly lovely (small-ish) belated birthday party this weekend with a handful of relatives & friends. And a large fistful of the friends' kids. It's crazy to stop & actually think about how many of my friends have spawned now.
There was key lime bars/pie and cheesecake & I think we have more wine in the house at the moment than I've had in the house in the last 2 years combined. But I'm not sad about this in the least. I did eat up all the samosas with my morning snack today; that did make me sad. They were awesome. I need that recipe--so tasty!
In other news, I was rated a-ok on this year's performance reviews at work which made me happy. D & I took yesterday off and went out to lunch at Melting Pot. Then I spent the rest of the day working on my mom's Christmas present and watching marginally terrible movies on netflix. It was a good day.
