FINALLY
I got a job.
After three months of unemployment (including five weeks of temping), I finally have gainful employment.
I will be doing accounts payable for a company that makes icings and doughnut fillings. So ironically, I stayed in the same food-related field. Also ironic is the fact that this company was purchased recently by another corporation based in the Netherlands. It was meant to be.
Anyways, all accounting for the six plants is done at this office. I will be one of four accounts payable cogs. And I'm fine with it. Flexible hours, paid insurance, PTO and sick time, the works. And the pay ain't half bad. I have to go urinate in a cup tomorrow, and then I'll start Monday. WOO HOO!!
I'm so looking forward to not job hunting every day.
