I was on my way to work this morning, listening to a stupid radio show in the car. Callers were supposed to guess what they thought were the worst songs ever recorded. Then the DJs would vote to see if that song made the final cut to an I Pod that they were giving away. A woman called in and had two suggestions. The first was Roseanna, by Toto(hey!). The second was Shock the Monkey, by Peter Gabriel. I was insulted. Those are great songs. Then one of the DJs said that she could not vote because she was not familiar with those songs, because they were from when she was a little child. Damn. Damn.

That, along with the fact that last night, I heard the Beastie Boys described as "pushing forty", caused me to have a decidedly "I'm old" moment.

What the hell.
