I am going to shock everyone and post in my journal without bitching. Why the good mood?
I GOT A JOB!!!
NOT IN NASHVILLE!!!
Yep. Got another office-y type job, but for a real company with real benefits. Like insurance *gasp*. And 401K *GASP*. And vacation time *thud*.
The job starts April 17th, so I'll be leaving for Atlanta Easter weekend. Most everything I own is already packed in boxes. I'll be coming back for that stuff(and yes my couch, too) when I get an apartment or dwelling of some sort. It feels so strange finally getting out the rut I've been in, however self-imposed. I sort of regret not taking advantage of the city I've been living in for the past few years, my mind always thinking of the next move. Nashville is not a bad place, I'm sure. It's just not for me. It will be so nice to finally settle somewhere, to finally have a place that feels like home.
Of course, I'll only be four hours away from family, so it's not like I'm moving to Egypt or Connecticut or something.
