Today I had the best July 4th that I have ever had in my whole life. I marched for peace in the parade. I met a woman who gave me a number of someone my age who is going to go to my school next year and who has a lot in common with me. Which is awesome, I've been searching for friends. I marched beside the woman who was her tutor. She told me she like my pins on my pack back(I had taken the bus so I didn't have a place to put my things) and the conversation went from there. After the parade I went to the All Party Assosiation which is trying to start a parliment sort thing in the U.S. They had teamed up with the Libertarians. It was fun. So I've decided that even though I'm under eighteen I'm with the Anarchist/Pot/Peace party.(Yes it is an actual party that exists...well its trying to at least.) We had a three man march with the Pot Party flag(take a wild guess at what was on the flag) and we got swamped by a bunch of kids wanting to buy them. I got one to hang(for free because I marched with it but mine didn't include a pole but its still cool). I got a new book(for free) about the Libertarians along with stickers and pins galore. It was fun and awesome. How I met the two guys who introduced me to the All Party thing was sort of funny. My mom got me to a peace rally an hour and a half late and since it was a two hour peace rally everyone had packed already so I was a little upset and these guys come up to me and ask me if I'm American and I say yes and then they start talking and stuff and it was really confusing but they said if I came I could get a free flag with a leaf on it so I thought sure okay. They gave me a flyer and I went on their website (usparliament.com) and figured it out and thought it was pretty cool. So I found them at the Fourth of July celebration and it ended up I was the only person that came that was invited from before. So we talked a lot. It was super. Oh, going back to the peace march, we were marcing and stuff and everyone was saying "Peace" and holding up their two fingers and stuff when someone yelled" Thats what were fighting for" Thats an oxymoron if I ever heard one. Overall it was a good day. I got a lot of new connections and flyers with information. It was fun.
