He hadn't thought anyone else would be in the gym this time of morning. This was the reason Alex Summers hadn't bothered with a shirt, just sweatpants. He paused in the doorway for a moment, just watching the older man lifting weights. It made him feel so small in comparison--which was a big deal since Alex prided himself in being as physically fit as he could--but there was just something about the way Erik's muscles moved that made him feel inferior.
"I can come back later...if you wanted to work out alone for a while," Alex stammered, feeling like he was intruding.
