Setting: The stairway on her side of the dorm area
Summary: Breakfast in the kitchen would be boring

Amara woke up, breathing heavily from what was most likely an unsettling dream. She wasn't one for remembering things she'd dreamed about, but she could tell by the haphazard state of her room that things had been shaking while she was asleep. It didn't look bad enough that she was concerned, and obviously, no one had come into wake her, so she put it out of her mind and moved on.
Deciding to put on proper clothing later, she slipped out of her room, heading downstairs to fix herself a cold breakfast. There was enough cereal in the house to feed an army, so she had plenty to choose from. Once she was done, she took her bowl and spoon, moving back to the staircase, sitting down to lean against the step behind her and the wall, pulling her knees up to rest the bowl.
It was late enough that everyone was probably up by now, but someone would probably come by eventually.
