(no subject)
I have scored my invite to Ravelry. It's...okay. I'm not interested in putting in my whole knitting backlog, and since I can't seem to hold onto ballbands, making a database for my stash is kind of frustrating, but I do like the community and tracking functions. I think I'll like community more when more people join; as it stands I may be the founder of Programmer, Anthropologist and/or AOS-fans knitters.
Anyway, if anyone else is on, I'm AtTheAlgonquin, and I clearly need to photograph my projects more :)
The interface is okay; I could definitely wish that it was a lot more intuitive, but that may be a learning curve. I *really* wish it was more customizable, and that a lot of the features were clearer (I've found the pattern and yarn searches particularly buggy), but I've also become very, very, very high-maintenance lately ;)
