I got bored. LJ has a nifty new feature that makes icons. Results below the cut.
I actually liked the constraints of no words - I had to find pictures that really spoke, or at least were lovely on their own.
A lovely Odilon Redon painting. He was a Belgian(?) artist, worked primarily in pastels.
A closeup of David's Madame Recamier. I also made an icon of the full painting, but like it much less.
The Winged Victory of Samothrace. I love her.
A detail from another Redon piece. I had once considered getting the whole as a tattoo; I might still if I can find an artist to do it justice.

Florence Farr, one of the inital leaders of The Golden Dawn. I think she was an amazing woman.
