oh yes, this bloggy thing
Hello internet! I am not yet dead! Sadly, I have nothing particularly interesting to report because my life has been subsumed in finishing my course and writing the most intensive fucking undergraduate dissertation of all time. My acknowledgements include the phrase "...who kept my spirits up when all looked bleak". Still, nearly over, and nearly summer and, um, nearly time to start looking for a job! Yay?
I'm moving in June. I like the flat here, but I'll be happy to say goodbye to it and start fresh somewhere new (well, new and in Cardiff, probably within a mile of where I live...). We start househunting soon, so I look forward to the sins against architecture that are about to be visited upon me.
I seem to be getting myself a feller, too, to put it quaintly. We met in the most random manner possible last weekend, had a date last night that went swimmingly, and will be doing lunch on Monday. I am quietly (and sometimes not-so-quietly) excited.
More to come, as I do things like eat meals and sleep regularly and maybe spend less than three days a week staying up til 3 am with whiskey and a dear friend and have interesting things to write about!
