"Then I'm sure that this place is fantastic," Lilah said, more to placate Wes than anything else. It was sad, and maybe it spoke for something that Lilah had a blase attitude toward most things in life, but most food tasted similar to her, anyway. One quality of food was about as good as another for Lilah. She had her favorite foods and all, but, otherwise, as long as it wasn't rotten, Lilah didn't care for quality. Expensive food tasted the same as cheap food to her ( ... )

An eyebrow was raised when Lilah ordered the same as he did. The *reason* as to why she did so even got her an amused look. It was a fact that Wesley wasn't well known for his culinary knowledge. One would assume so, but his mother had only taught him the basics. Since, obviously, he was supposed to have become the greatest Watcher in History, so why would he need to know fine wining and dining ( ... )

"I think you should have read the pamphlet better," Lilah said with a smirk. Apparently she could have booked him on a cruise to Mars and he wouldn't have noticed at the time, it seemed. That was definitely amusing to her right now. Still, might as well actually explain what they could do while they were on the boat. "Technically, if you want to sit in the sun by the pool the entire day, that's possible, although, after about two days, you'll get bored of that, and probably sunburned." Like the rest of his friends, he was pale as a ghost, due to the late nights ( ... )

"Yes well..." Wesley murmured, focusing needlessly on feeding Max rather then the fact that he hadn't read the damn pamphlets. He'd been busy! What with there being two less Watcher but an increasing amount of Slayers that kept coming from god only knew where. At the moment it were really just Giles and Wesley himself who had all the Slayers to take care of. Thank god that Faith and Buffy could train those girls as well. Not to mention Spike, Angel or Gunn ( ... )

Lilah laughed a little when Wes mentioned the show 'The Love Boat.' It wasn't exactly known for it's accuracy about things like cruises, after all. She wasn't sure, but that show might have been about a single's cruise? Maybe, anyway. She didn't know the show personally, other than jokes she had heard from others. Romance around every corner. "Well, television shows aren't known for getting their facts straight," she pointed out to Wes ( ... )

"Oh now that sounds like my sort of vacation." Sitting around and catching up on all of his novels? Not work related novels? That did sound like heaven. Of course it wouldn't be much fun for Max or Lilah so it was unlike to happen. But he might squeeze some reading time in there, it wasn't as if he was going anywhere without books. That would be sacrilege ( ... )

"Then do it. It is *your* vacation, Wes," she pointed out to him. Of course, she wouldn't let him read the entire time, and Max certainly wouldn't, but she wouldn't begrudge him a novel or two. Or twelve, knowing him. Still, he wanted to read, she was going to let him read and not bother him too much about it. She certainly hoped to spend a good bit of time just laying in the sun and doing nothing, so him reading wouldn't put too much of a damper in her plans ( ... )
