NOTE: Some of these testimonials were written about the game while it was played in chats and journals, so mentions of sessions may be mentioned. Also, these first testimonials are from the game when it was modded just be Jessica, under another game name.

"I love playing in What We Do! The quality of writing here constantly inspires me to write better myself. I've never been able to write with such supportive, creative people. I would spawn this community and snuggle with it in bed if I could." - Amanda

"Oh man. I have serious integration issues, and the group pretty much accepted me as one of their own already. I'm having a great time here!" - Avery mun

"As a final gesture of sincerity: WWD is a fabulous storyline. The Moderator puts an extraordinary amount of time into running things, and she should be commended for her dedication. Good luck to you all in WWD and enjoy yourselves!" - Ari

"Unlike some other post-series guilds, this one takes well known characters down new roads without coming off as redundant. Thanks to the well played characterizations, WWD has become an rping experience I won't soon forget." - Scott

"Alright. ::cracks knuckles:: I put on my game face for this. ;) By way of introduction, which I always assume I never need, I'm Lauren. At WWD, that means Illyria, Riv (an original character), and Lindsey McDonald. I have not been in this game for long, not by any stretch of the already pretty damn stretchy imaginations in this place. But I know a thing or two about the rpg world. In total, I have multiple personality disorder to the following tune: three games, 14 characters. (That list may shorten soon, but not from this game). I am also a moderator. My game will be a year old in July. WD has been around three. Years. I know the kind of work that goes into that, and let me tell you, it is just not easy to do. You have to have people who are passionate about the game, about writing, and about their characters. You have to have patience, you have to have wit, you have to have a lot of things. All of them are here. In spades. I am consistently impressed by the caliber of the players here--many of whom I am lucky enough to work with in my game, as well. I am consistently impressed by how everyone interacts. I am consistently smiley because of Jess. And I am not a smiley woman, as my choice of characters might indicate. -grin- I'll write wherever I can, wherever I can, because I'm addicted. But I like writing here. I like the idea, where everyone took the storyline post series. (This is the only post-series and non-alternate-plotline game I'm in.) You better love what you do, if you're going to do it. I, personally, lose patience with people who don't have that quality. Everyone here has it. Which is why I love What We Do." - Lauren

"In the words of Charles Gunn, "Yo this entire guild is dope." I haven't been a part of the storyline very long, but from the moment I joined I felt welcomed. I've tried joining storylines before, but none of them update and send out routine reminders like this one. And Jessica is great. I wasn't much of a journal guy and I told Jess that. She volunteered her services in helping me create a Journal. I'm so happy I joined this storyline and I personally think this is the greatest Buffy/Angel storyline there is." - Gavin

"What We Do isn't just one of the better storylines I've ever joined, it's the absolute best. With its friendly and creative players, wonderfully kept journals, interesting storylines, and active journal community, it is the ideal environment for a Buffy/Angel rp. And with an owner as dedicated, resourceful, and kind as Jessica at the helm, it was bound to be. The storyline has the unique ability to continuously keep the players interested, respected, and perfectly maintain a Jossverse setting. What We Do is a model utopia for Buffy/Angel rpers and should be held in the highest regard." -Shay

"I must say, I am a proud member of the storyline What We Do. Not only are the players and atmosphere great, but it's a fresh and exciting new roleplay that I've come to love. It's structured to such an extent so that we have a basic set ground to play on, but from there the players never cease to amaze me with their skills. Jessica is such a great owner, and takes care of her members, as well as every other little detail. Each and every single character in this storlyine I've come to find is amazingly portrayed, so it's safe to say that these people know what they're doing. Along with canon players, each original character is so well thought out and so diverse it makes it very easy for us to immediately click with one another in character as well as out of character." - Anita

"I bow down to Jessica. It's not just anyone who makes the effort to make a storyline work for so long. I believe she deserves kudos for just putting up with some of the drama that comes with her job. Thanks to her and this storyline I have met people I never would have had the chance to on and off the rpg scene. Everyone has talent and a knack for their characters, whether it be a canon or not, and that is appreciated. Many thanks go out to each of the players for their time and effort as well. It wouldn't run as smoothly without everyone doing their part and staying active. But manly my thanks is thrown to my poodle, Jessica. Without her, What We Do would have never even got off the ground much less last as long as it already has. I can only hope it lasts a lot longer." - April

"I've been in many storylines over these last few years and I even have one myself, but this sl is far from any normal ones. It's simply fantastic. The storyline is well thought out and the characters playing the cannons are perfect - and it takes a real leader to find out who does who best, and Jessica does that, which is why I respect her and her choices. Her rping skills as Buffy are great, and she keeps the site well balanced and makes it look really, really pretty." - Trish

"This game is the best game out there, a storyline that the other storylines tend to copy. Jessica is the best mod there is. I'm ecstatic to be in this sl, especially with its terrific owner. She's fabulous, this place is fabulous, and so are its members. If you don't join, you're definitely missing out." - Kim

"I had a character in the WWD guild 2 years ago, and never before had I found such an intricately layed out post-Buffy roleplay series. The storyline consists of several of the series' canon characters (accurately portrayed) as well as plenty of original characters (all delicately crafted, and very easily finding their own original places within the series.) The plotlines are more dynamic than any Buffy storyline I'd encountered, and it was an absolute delight to swap ideas and collect information with roleplayers as dedicated as I was. The WWD storyline is such that everyone is granted opportunity to craft plots and future endeavors for the characters, it's a joint community. Reminders and notices were sent via e-mail to keep everyone up to date (Mod note: now they are on the OOC board), so no one was left abandoned. Most importantly, the storyline honors the television show's history, and the characters are honored in distinctly accurate portrayers. The game allows further story to be told about the former Sunnydale/L.A. citizens and ensures that they grow up remaining true to character. I left with satisfaction for my part in telling the wild stories that the Buffy-Universe has to offer, and said goodbye to the game with such high regard that I continue to follow the storylines, despite not being in it myself. This is a recommendation to Buffy roleplayers everywhere. The WWD guild has survived 3 years, and at the rate it's going, will continue to survive at least 3 more. Applause to all involved, and congratulations for the product of all your dedication and thought that is put forth." - Scott
