Progression. And of what?

I worked very intensely on the next draft of Emerald Wounds last night and brought the play to a new level that I'm really pleased with. I was re-reading the piece today and there were sections where I was enjoying it quite a lot, I forgot I wrote it.

That's how I need the whole piece to be and it's not there yet. But soon.

This play in particular, because of the themes of murder and revenge-thirst, really have me thinking about the world in a way that I never really ventured to, before. And in a way that I've never really wanted to, quite frankly. I really want to believe that there is a rhyme and reason to it all, that we are all here, connected in a plot of specifically placed points for a reason.

However,

I fear I'm becoming a bit of a nihilist.

Uh-oh.
