Long time no see. I have not been able to post much because I have been busy. Last week I went to Japan Bowl in D.C to partake in a competition. It was really fun and I took a lot of cool pictures (one has to look on Facebook to see them). Man, it just hit me that there is one month left until AP exams. I am taking three but the US History one is the only one I can really study for (AP French is an either "You know it or you don't" while I don't know how you can study for AP English). I am trying to read one chapter of my princeton review a day, so far it is...working.
Ahaha today was fun, I was relaxed knowing that I don't have to take any more notes in history. We took a mock exam and I felt confident about it except for some questions that asked about the 80s (we didn't even go over that) and some I just couldn't remember. Yet, I am sure I did quite well on it (watch me fail it anyway). By the way Allison, if you are reading this, sometime we should get together again and do another AP study group like last year :)
As for SATs, well I did bad. I mean I did ALRIGHT on writing (610) and ehh on Reading (580(?)) but I failed the math (400 something). I got a 1650 around overall but it is pretty bad. I am sure the fact that I omitted like 7 math problems for each section may have had something to do with it, my calculator died with FRESH batteries at the beginning of the test. Next time I am bringing 10 spares.
Next year I am planning to challenge myself more, make myself look more presentable to college. I may change from level pre-cal to preAP (god forbid I get Koffey) and all my other classes are basically AP (suicidal anyone?). I also am going to try to do more service such as participating in NEHS, NHS, Nat'l Jap Honour Society, Maybe Model UN, and if they bring it back, French Club and French NHS. I may also volunteer at the library with my friend.
Well, that is basically what has happened since I last wrote, yea not much. I have so much for english, Catch-22 is a great book but I am scared shitless for the test (Sparknotes anyone?). Nice to vent my stress. Adieu.
